About Us

Our hotel is the unique in that we’ve completely remodeled an old adobe building that’s been in our family for years. We’ve recently converted it into a small boutique hotel with six private individual rooms.

When we say European-style we mean that some rooms are fully self-contained and have their own bathroom and shower inside of the suite. Other rooms have a bathroom and shower that are not directly connected to the room but are just outside the door. Every room has its own private and secured door. All of our rooms come with their own Smart TV, mini-fridge and freezer, coffee machine and supplies, microwave oven, dedicated AC unit and other amenities.

There is also a shared common area that is akin to a living room or equivalent to a hotel lobby. We have a comfy couch and seating where our guests can relax or work. We have free WiFi throughout the property.

Our outside patio area is a shared space and our guests can make full use of our covered seating area, picnic tables and BBQ grilling station. We have a dedicated private and secure parking lot with spaces reserved for our guests.

“This is a boutique hotel. If you need valet parking, room service, or chocolates on your pillow at night, you may want to consider other accommodations. But this hotel is perfect if you need a great location, a quiet place to comfortably sleep, and a five-star concierge. Elsie (the owner/manager) is more helpful and knowledgeable of local resources and attractions than any four- or five-star hotel concierge or manager I have ever known (she was born and raised in Marfa). Likewise, the hotel is also cleaner than most hotels. Like, crazy-clean. It is definitely boutique, and not all rooms have bathrooms and showers (remember, it is boutique).

I visited Marfa with a bit of hesitation due to its remoteness and questions of its services, restaurants and comfort, but I was pleasantly surprised. I will most definitely return again.”
